 FAQs

  • MOZAIC advisors serve as mentors, guiding students through every step of the secondary school admissions process. This includes helping them build a school list, prepare for tests, complete applications, and navigate financial aid. Advisors check in regularly, offer encouragement, and support scholars through their school decision and transition into 9th grade. Their role is to be a steady, supportive presence from the start of the journey to the scholar’s first semester in high school.

  • At the time of an advisor accepting their seasonal agreement, you are able to select the number of students that you would be willing to advise during one time.

  • Our team considers advisors based on a holistic process. Applicants with personal experience similar to scholars may be preferred; however, the most essential part is being a good mentor and being someone trustable to guide students and families throughout the process.

  • Upon acceptance, a training will be required to introduce you to general procedures. Time spent advising is dependent on the amount of scholars you are advising. Generally, advisors meet with families/scholars bi-weekly during application cycles and communicate as needed throughout the week.
