Mission
The MOZAIC Scholars Program empowers talented students from disadvantaged backgrounds by providing resources, mentorship, and guidance to help them access quality secondary education. Through academic support, leadership development, and college readiness training, scholars receive personalized assistance with school selection, applications, and financial aid. The program also connects students with mentors and a supportive peer network to foster resilience and ambition. MOZAIC’s support continues through the first semester of 9th grade, ensuring a smooth transition into their new academic environment and setting them up for long-term success.

I am beyond grateful to have the privilege and opportunity to embark on the journey that is MOZAIC. Growing up as an FGLI student, there were many times that I was left to advocate and problem solve on my own; however, there are other families that have limited resources including language barriers and time restraints due to socio-economic barriers. I founded MOZAIC with the mission to serve the underprivileged community and provide the necessary support needed to assist high-achieving students to reach their highest potential.

I come from an immigrant family, which has shaped deep values especially in responsibility. These experiences have taught me about the importance of guidance and support throughout. I joined MOZAIC because I strive to be the guide for others. I hope to help them build their own stories of achievement and growth throughout their educational journey.

Director
As a board member of MOZAIC, I'm committed to furthering our mission of supporting under-privileged students because coming from a low-income household and being a first-generation immigrant, I am passionate about creating opportunities. When applying to schools, students like myself often struggle with deciding where they want to go. Having that guidance and resource is especially important and that's where MOZAIC comes in. My goal for MOZAIC is for every student that comes out of our program happy and satisfied with the choice they made.
